Brittani is a visual artist living and working near Frederick, Maryland. She received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, in 2015. Her specialty is in printmaking and she is devoted to continuously evolving her methods of artistic expression. She holds the conviction in the free exchange of ideas and believes that the printing press facilitates mass communication with a personal touch.
In 2014, she was selected for an internship program at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, where she learned the value of working with both children and professional artists in collective efforts to practice different forms of printmaking. Brittani is actively involved in her local community where she engages patrons in a variety of art workshops at the Delaplaine Art Center in Frederick, MD. She has also joined forces with Cat Tail Run Hand Bookbinding to hold a series of marbling workshops that offer lessons in the classic styles of marbled paper.
Her mission is to continue to work with local art centers who create community-based projects to promote the love and appreciation of the arts. When she is not working on art you can catch her hanging out in an old stone home in the woods with her husband, two young daughters, and a flock of chickens.
