The Soft Asylum Marbling Workshop @ Catskills Maker Camp 2024

The Soft Asylum is coming to Maker Camp 2024! Join us in the beautiful Catskill Mountains for free workshops and demonstrations. Maker Camp is an annual gathering of artisans and craftsmen, coming together to showcase their skills and have fun. We will be in the Textile section marbling scarves and teaching about the history and application of marbling. Each day of Maker Camp there will be opportunities for you to participate in a guided marbling workshop and leave with your own marbled handkerchief. This is a free workshop, included with your Maker Camp ticket.

The Catskill Mountain Maker Camp is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people while offering a unique platform to learn new skills and share skills of your own. The Maker Camp is a hands-on Makers gathering that revolves heavily around classes and demonstrations in crafts like blacksmithing, timber framing, welding, woodworking, CNC, epoxy and much much more. This is a three day event held every Columbus Day Weekend at the Blackthorne Resort in East Durham, NY
